Paris Air Show 2025: A Recap of the Highlights and Deals
Over 600 commercial aircraft transactions—including firm orders, options, LOIs, and MoUs—marked the 55th edition of the Paris Air Show.

The 55th edition of the Paris Air Show, held in Le Bourget, France, from 16 to 22 June 2025, spotlighted key advancements across the aerospace sector—recording over 600 commercial aircraft transactions spanning firm orders, options, LOIs, and MoUs.
Airbus alone secured agreements for more than 240 commercial and freighter aircraft. Its Defence and Space, along with Airbus Helicopters divisions, also finalised notable deals spanning both civil and military markets, according to EVP for Airbus President, Wouter Van Wersch.
Rolls-Royce confirmed engine orders valued in the billions, covering over 140 units—including Trent XWB-97, Trent 7000, and XWB-84 engines—and announced plans to supply carriers in Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Taiwan, and Vietnam.
The event also highlighted progress in gender equity with dedicated zones under the Women in Aerospace initiative, designed to inspire and engage future female talent across aviation and space disciplines.
Organisers reiterated the industry’s commitment to inclusivity, noting that “the aerospace industry is open and accessible to all.”
Advancements in sustainable aviation remained a central theme, with Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) solutions prominently featured to reinforce the sector’s environmental ambitions.
Companies such as Eve Air Mobility and Archer Aviation showcased their latest concepts, while Kenya’s Safarilink Aviation signed a Letter of Intent with AURA AERO for hybrid-electric regional aircraft—marking a regional move toward lower-emission air transport.
