QR expands global network to cater to peak summer season 2025

Qatar Airways (QR) has announced the launch of additional flights to key destinations worldwide, including four in Africa, to cater to increased travel demand.

The airline stated that these expanded services will offer passengers greater flexibility and seamless connections, further strengthening its network of more than 170 destinations.

Qatar Airways Chief Commercial Officer, Mr. Thierry Antinori, outlined, “With the peak summer season approaching, we are pleased to fulfil the ever-increasing demand for air travel with accessible and convenient flight schedules.”

Qatar Airways’ Increased Frequencies: Africa Region

  • Dar Es Salaam-Kilimanjaro, Tanzania – increased from three weekly flights to seven
  • Entebbe, Uganda – increased from seven weekly flights to 11
  • Maputo-Durban – increased from five weekly flights to seven
  • Tunis, Tunisia – increased from 10 weekly flights to 12
