Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA) made significant strides in strengthening air transport connections across the globe by signing agreements with several countries during the Air Services Negotiations (ICAN 2023) event in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

  • Seychelles: A signed MOU unlocks 21 passenger flights in both directions, boosting travel options.
  • Chad: Signing of the initials to update the Open Skies Air Services Agreement between the two countries.
  • Togo: A finalised Open Skies Agreement opens the skies for passenger and cargo flights, enhancing travel and trade.
  • Ghana: A signed MOU to increase transport rights paves the way for increased passenger and cargo flights, connecting the two nations.
  • South Africa: An MOU allows seven (7) additional passenger flights, bringing the total to 35 in both directions, providing more travel options.
