Riyadh Air Orders 25 Airbus A350-1000 Aircraft
First A350-1000 operator in Saudi Arabia; Milestone order aligns with Vision 2030 and long-haul ambitions

Paris Air Show June 16, 2025—Riyadh Air (RX) has placed a firm order for 25 Airbus A350-1000 aircraft, with the potential to increase to 50.
The agreement was signed at the 55th edition of Paris Air Show, attended by key figures including H.E Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Governor of Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund, and Tony Douglas, CEO of Riyadh Air. This order marks Riyadh Air as the first airline in Saudi Arabia to operate the A350-1000.
“The A350-1000 will bring outstanding efficiency and comfort to our fleet, supporting our sustainability goals and enabling Riyadh Air to offer a premium experience while connecting Saudi Arabia to the world,” said Adam Boukadida, CFO of Riyadh Air.
The A350-1000 is expected to support the airline’s sustainability goals while enhancing passenger experience and connectivity for Saudi Arabia’s aviation ambitions, according to the airline’s leadership.
