Royal Air Maroc Resumes Direct Casablanca-Sao Paulo Flights After Five-Year Hiatus
RAM's First direct flight lands in Sao Paulo, reviving the Morocco-Brazil connection

Royal Air Maroc (AT) has resumed direct flights between Casablanca, Morocco (CMN), and Sao Paulo, Brazil (GRU), ending a five-year hiatus caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The inaugural Boeing 787 Dreamliner flight arrived at Sao Paulo’s Guarulhos International Airport on December 7, 2024.
A traditional Water Salute ceremony, attended by Brazilian tourism officials and industry representatives, welcomed the aircraft, underscoring the significance of this renewed connection between the two nations.
Casablanca-Sao Paulo Route Details
The new route operates three times weekly:
- Departures from Casablanca: Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 4:40 PM, Arrivals in Sao Paulo: 10:20 PM local time.
- Departures from Sao Paulo: Tuesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 12:25 AM, Arrivals in Casablanca: 1:15 PM
