Royal Air Maroc to Relocate to New Terminal One at JFK in 2026
RAM joins JFK’s $19 billion redevelopment, relocating to The New Terminal One in 2026. The airline currently operates up to two daily Casablanca flights on Boeing 787s.

Royal Air Maroc (AT), Morocco’s national carrier, will relocate its JFK operations to The New Terminal One in 2026—aligning with its broader strategy to strengthen transatlantic connections and improve passenger experience, the airline confirmed.
Currently based in Terminal 1, Royal Air Maroc operates up to two daily flights to Casablanca on Boeing 787 aircraft.
The transition to The New Terminal One is part of JFK Airport’s ongoing $19 billion transformation, which includes:
- Two new terminals
- Modernisation of existing terminals
- Expanded ground transportation facilities
- A redesigned roadway network for improved accessibility

RAM’s Transatlantic Growth Strategy
Royal Air Maroc’s expansion at JFK reinforces its positioning as a global aviation player, according to Chairman & CEO Hamid Addou.
“This partnership marks a major milestone for Royal Air Maroc and strengthens our strategic presence in New York, a key gateway for transatlantic operations,” Addou stated.

Network Expansion & Alliance Partnerships
With a growing global footprint, Royal Air Maroc currently serves over 90 destinations, with plans to expand to 147 by 2037.
As the first oneworld Alliance member to relocate to The New Terminal One, it joins a lineup of airlines set to operate from the facility, including:
- Air France, KLM, Etihad, LOT Polish Airlines
- Korean Air, EVA Air, Air Serbia, SAS, Neos
- Philippine Airlines, Turkish Airlines, Air New Zealand
The New Terminal One has also confirmed a collaboration with Air China, aimed at enhancing travel experiences for Chinese passengers visiting New York.
