South African Airways (SA) has re-launched “The Lounge” at Chief Dawid Stuurman International Airport in Gqeberha in partnership with Discovery and Investec Bank Ltd.

This premium space follows the recent upgrades to the Platinum and Premium lounges at the international departure terminal of Johannesburg’s O.R. Tambo International Airport.

Location and Features

Located on the first-floor mezzanine level at domestic departures, The Lounge offers a range of amenities.

These include coffee made by professionally trained baristas using La Marzocco espresso machines, a selection of South Africa’s top wines, a range of fine meals, dedicated working spaces, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.

With South Africans increasingly returning to the skies over the past few years, it’s clear that many are looking for more comfortable airport experiences as they wait to board their flights,” stated SAA Interim CCO, Tebogo Tsimane.

Lounge Access

Access to The Lounge is exclusive to SAA Business Class travellers, SAA Voyager Silver, Gold, and Platinum members, Star Alliance Gold members, Discovery Vitality Platinum, Black, and Purple card holders, and Investec Private Bank card holders.
