SAA Named Host Airline for Wings of Change Focus Africa 2024
IATA's second edition of Wings of Change Focus Africa to be held between July2-3, 2024.
South African Airways (SA) is set to be the host airline at the second edition of the IATA Wings of Change Focus Africa (WOCFA) between July 2-3, 2024, in Johannesburg, South Africa.
The WOCFA event, organised by IATA, serves as a platform for aviation leaders, regulators, and subject matter experts to discuss key challenges and opportunities in air transport.
WOCFA: A Platform for Advancing African Aviation
The goal is to collaboratively formulate future strategies that enhance the role of air transport as a catalyst for economic and social development throughout the African region.
IATA notes that Africa is recognised as possessing the highest growth potential within the aviation industry among all regions, “While our unwavering commitment to promoting safe, secure, and sustainable air transport across Africa remains steadfast, there is an urgent need to expedite the progress of aviation across the continent.”
