Safarilink Boosts Fleet with New Cessna Grand Caravan EX
10th Cessna joins Safarilink's growing fleet.
Safarilink Aviation (Kenya) has taken delivery of a brand new Cessna Grand Caravan EX, marking its second new aircraft acquisition in 2024.
The Cessna Grand Caravan C208B EX aircraft, powered by an 867 horsepower Pratt & Whitney Canada engine (PT6A-140) with a cruise speed of 185 ktas (343km/h), took off from Textron Aviation’s facility in Wichita, Kansas.
The aircraft was received at Nairobi’s Wilson Airport on March 17, 2024, by the airline’s senior management and personnel, as well as representatives from Africair – the world’s largest distributor of Cessna Aircraft Company.
Safarilink’s Growing Fleet
Safarilink highlighted that the latest addition brings the Cessna fleet to a total of 10. Including the 4 Dash 8s, the airline’s fleet stands at 14, enabling its commitment to be ‘Kenya’s premier safari airline.’
