Shanghai Airlines Launches New Morocco Service

FM connects Shanghai and Casablanca with 3X weekly flights starting January 2025

Shanghai Airlines (FM), a subsidiary of China Eastern Airlines, is expanding its network to Africa, according to AeroRoutes data.

The airline will introduce a new service to Morocco, starting January 19, 2025, with the existing Shanghai Pu Dong – Marseille route extending to Casablanca. The service will be operated three times a week by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.

As per AeroRoutes, Shanghai Airlines received approval from the CAAC to serve this route up to five times weekly in the third quarter of 2024.
