SkyTeam Wins ‘Alliance of the Year’ at 2024 Air Transport Awards
SkyTeam retains title for the second consecutive year.
The 2024 Air Transport Awards unveiled its winners at a ceremony in Athens, Greece on March 17, 2024. The international annual awards recognise all the main categories of the air transport industry.
SkyTeam Airline Alliance secured the “Alliance of the Year” award for the second year running. This marks their fourth time claiming the top spot at the Air Transport Awards.
SkyTeam’s Tech-Driven, Sustainable Approach
Dr. Kostas Iatrou, President of the Air Transport Awards and Director General of Hermes – Air Transport Organization, commented:
“The judges were captivated by SkyTeam’s dedication to delivering a more integrated customer experience. Their use of digital technology to make travel more seamless and initiatives like The Sustainable Flight Challenge, which is rallying airlines to discover new methods to reduce air travel’s environmental impact, were particularly impressive.”
