Skytrax World Airport Awards 2022: Africa Region

Cape Town International Airport voted Best Airport in Africa region at the Skytrax World Airport Awards 2022. A total of three airports in Africa ranked in Skytrax World’s Top 100 Airports for 2022. Cape Town International Airport – 49 (Best Airport in Africa, Best Airport Staff in Africa, and Cleanest Airport in Africa); Durban King Shaka – 59 (Best Regional Airport in Africa); Johannesburg O.R. Tambo – 71. The Best Airport in the World was awarded to Hamad International Airport (HIA), Doha for the second consecutive year.

The World Airport Awards are the most prestigious accolades for the airport industry, voted by customers in the largest, annual global airport customer satisfaction survey.
