The 2023 Telegraph Travel Awards were recently announced, with three African countries featuring among the Top 10 Best Countries for holiday destinations in the world.
South Africa was named the Best Country in the World for holidays, while Cape Town was awarded first place in the Best Worldwide City category. Kenya and Botswana also received recognition, ranking 7th and 10th, respectively.
