South African Airways Boosts Flight Frequencies to Perth and Harare
SAA increases flights to Perth and Harare starting November and December 2024.
Increased Frequencies to Perth
South African Airways (SA) announced that it is responding to increasing demand by boosting the frequency of its nonstop flights between Perth and Johannesburg.
The airline says the additional flights will provide more opportunities for Australian travellers to experience SAA service en route to Africa.
New Flight Schedule for Perth
Starting December 7, 2024: Flights will depart Johannesburg at 8:35 PM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, arriving in Perth at 12:10 PM the following day.
An additional flight will depart Johannesburg on Mondays beginning January 6, 2025.
Starting December 8, 2024: From Perth, flights will depart at 11:55 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays, arriving in Johannesburg at 5:10 AM the following day.
An additional flight will depart Perth on Tuesdays beginning January 7, 2025, totalling five per week.
More Flights Between Harare and Johannesburg
In response to growing demand, SAA has also increased the number of weekly flights between Harare and Johannesburg from 10 to 12, effective November 5, 2024.
SAA has stated that this increase caters to the rising number of Zimbabwean expatriates, tourists, and increased trade between the two countries.
Updated Flight Schedule for Harare
From Harare:
- SA25 departs Harare at 07:20, arriving in Johannesburg at 09:00 (Monday to Friday).
- SA23 departs Harare at 12:25, arriving in Johannesburg at 14:05 (Daily).
From Johannesburg:
- SA22 departs Johannesburg at 10:00, arriving in Harare at 11:35 (Daily).
- SA24 departs Johannesburg at 20:10, arriving in Harare at 21:45 (Sunday to Thursday).
