South African Airways Relaunches Flights to São Paulo

○ FlySAA relaunches intercontinental service with flights from both Cape Town and Johannesburg to São Paulo, Brazil, starting October 31 and November 6, 2023, respectively.

South African Airways (SA) announced on June 29, the relaunch of its first intercontinental service with flights from both Cape Town and Johannesburg to São Paulo, Brazil.

Flights between Cape Town (CPT) and Guarulhos International Airport (GRU) are set to launch starting October 31, 2023, with a twice-weekly frequency, while flights between Johannesburg O.R. Tambo International Airport (JNB) and Guarulhos International Airport will begin on November 6, 2023, with a twice-weekly frequency.

SAA’s CCO, Mr Tebogo Tsimane, said: “We have created an effective schedule which is ideal for both business and leisure travellers and our schedule is fantastic for connecting traffic. Our Voyager members can also earn miles at an accelerated rate when flying on an SAA operated flight, 1 SAA Voyager mile for every R1.60 spent and the accumulation of miles counts towards Elite status.”
