Sphinx International Airport To Start Operations November 2022 

Egypt’s Ministry of Civil Aviation confirms Sphinx International Airport’s launch on November 01, 2022.

The Ministry of Civil Aviation (MCA), Egypt, has confirmed that Sphinx International Airport is set to start operations on November 01, 2022, coinciding with the start of the winter tourist season. The airport will have the capacity to handle one million and one hundred thousand passengers per annum.

Air Cairo will operate flights between Sphinx and Sharm El-Sheikh, Luxor, and Aswan Airports, offering 12 weekly flights. This development is expected to boost tourism in the region.
