TAAG Angola Airlines appoints Clóvis Lara Rosa as Chairman in May 2025
TAAG Angola Airlines has announced the appointment of Mr. Clóvis Lara Rosa as Chairman, following a decision by shareholders, the airline stated.
According to a statement by TAAG, Mr. Rosa brings extensive experience in corporate governance oversight to the role.
His prior involvement with TAAG includes serving as Secretary of the Board of the General Assembly since 2021 and as a member of the Remuneration Committee since 2022, the company noted.
Prior to his appointment, Mr. Rosa held a consultancy role within the Office of the Minister of Transport, where he was responsible for overseeing TAAG’s restructuring process.
“His appointment represents the continuity of technical and institutional work focused on company consolidation, operational excellence, and commitment to the public interest,” TAAG stated.
TAAG officially welcomed Mr. Rosa to his new role and extended best wishes for success in this new chapter for the company.
