TAAG Angola Airlines (DT) has announced a revised delivery date for its anticipated first A220-300 aircraft.

According to an announcement by the carrier, the aircraft is now scheduled to join the airline’s fleet in September 2024.

The A220-300, boasting a capacity of “137 seats, 12 in business class and 125 in economy class,” according to TAAG , is set to enhance operational efficiency and passenger comfort.

The airline plans to incorporate the iconic Palanca, Angola’s national symbol, prominently on the aircraft’s tail and winglets.

Additionally, the plane’s livery will draw inspiration from the vibrant colors and patterns of the traditional Angolan fabric, «Samakaka».
