TAAG Angola Airlines Opens Njinga Lounge
New lounge at AIAAN with a capacity of 50, dedicated to domestic passengers
On March 5, 2025, TAAG Angola Airlines (DT) announced the opening of its new lounge at Luanda’s Dr António Agostinho Neto International Airport (AIAAN) in Angola.
TAAG’s ‘Njinga Lounge’ has a capacity of 50 guests, dedicated to enhancing the travel experience for passengers on domestic flights.
The facility offers a range of amenities designed for leisure and comfort, “making it the ideal environment to relax before a flight or to enjoy a space rich in harmony and Angolan culture,” the airline highlighted.
Njinga Lounge is a rich showcase of Angolan culture. TAAG notes that the naming is inspired by Queen Njinga, “a symbol of strength, strategy, and leadership, and serves as a tribute to the greatness of Angola.”
