TAAG Angola Airlines Resumes Flights to Brazzaville

TAAG Angola Airlines (DT) has announced the resumption of flights to Brazzaville, starting August 2, 2024.

The airline plans to offer two weekly frequencies connecting Luanda to the Republic of Congo, operating Dash-8 400 aircraft, with a total capacity of 74 passengers (10 in Business Class and 64 in Economy Class).

Luanda-Brazzaville Flight Schedule

• Flight DT542: Departs from Luanda (LAD) on Friday and Sunday at 10:00 PM local time, arriving at Brazzaville Maya-Maya International Airport (BZV) at 11:20 PM.
• Flight DT543: Departs Brazzaville on Saturday and Monday at 04:40 AM local time, arriving at Luanda’s Quatro de Fevereiro International Airport at 06:00 AM.

Strengthening Connectivity

In a statement on July 1, 2024, TAAG emphasised the strategic importance of this link:

“From a network planning perspective, the Angola-Republic of Congo connection via Brazzaville will provide TAAG with greater connectivity and traffic within the Southern Africa Development Community (SADC).”
