Tchadia Airlines (OT) was placed into liquidation – following successive financial years of losses between 2019 and 2021. Tchadia Airlines was the national carrier of Chad, based at N’Djamena International Airport – launched in 2018 as a joint partnership between the Government of Chad (51% stake) and Ethiopian Airlines Group (49% stake).
“[Shareholders] decided the early dissolution of the company TCHADIA AIRLINES effective July 20, 2022, and its amicable liquidation [..] Put an end to the mandate of the Board of Directors and the General Directorate.” -Chad Airlines, Notice of Dissolution and Liquidation.
