Turkish Airlines Opens 2025 Take-Off Cadet Program Applications

Turkish Airlines (TK) has announced the latest intake for its Take-Off Cadet Program, designed to train the next generation of pilots as global air transportation continues to expand.

The initiative provides new graduates with an intensive 15-18 month training program, leading to type training at affiliated flight academies, according to the airline.

The general requirements outlined by Turkish Airlines include Turkish citizenship or blue card holder status, a bachelor’s degree (formal or open education), and meeting the stipulated age criteria.

The selection process involves an online English test, psychometric evaluations, and non-technical competence assessments, followed by a board interview and medical clearance.

Turkish Airlines states that successful applicants will undergo theoretical and practical courses, preparing them for roles as first officers in its fleet.

They further highlight the program’s significance in addressing the growing global demand for trained pilots.

Applications and detailed requirements are available on Turkish Airlines’ official platforms, with submissions accepted until July 2025.
