Uganda Airlines Boosts African Network with Abuja, Harare, and Lusaka

New flights commence September 2024, increasing destinations to 16.

Uganda Airlines (UR) has announced a regional network expansion with the addition of three new destinations.

Scheduled services to Abuja (ABV), Nigeria; Harare (HRE), Zimbabwe; and Lusaka (LUN), Zambia, commence in September 2024.

The triple launch is a milestone,” Uganda Airlines stated, “creating an air bridge between West Africa and Southern Africa, and brings convenience and seamless connectivity, enabling multiple opportunities in business, trade, tourism, and socio-cultural linkages.”

Flights Launch and Schedules

Abuja:

Commences September 12, 2024, with flights every Sunday and Thursday operated by the A330-800 aircraft. This service extends Uganda Airlines’ existing Lagos route, which operates on Sundays, Mondays, and Thursdays.

Lusaka and Harare:

Launch on September 25, 2024, with four weekly flights operated by the CRJ-900 fleet.

These new services also mark the second phase of our network development,” said Ms. Bamuturaki, CEO of Uganda Airlines.

With the addition of these new services, Uganda Airlines now offers flights to a total of 16 destinations in 13 countries.
