Zambia Airways Readies For Takeoff December 2021

Zambia Airways (ZN) readies for take-off with the delivery of its first aircraft – a Dash 8 welcomed on November 29, 2021. The airline will initially offer domestic services to Ndola and Livingstone, starting Wednesday, December 01, 2021. Regional operations are to follow within the first quarter of 2022 to destinations including Harare and Johannesburg.

Zambia’s IDC holds 55% equity, Ethiopian Airlines – 45% in a joint venture to relaunch Zambia Airways Limited. The shareholders contributed USD30million in capital to the establishment of the airline.
