The African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC) in partnership with the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) launched the first AFCAC Workshop on the Acceleration of Development and Deployment of Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) in Africa – held in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 3 to 5 July 2023.
AFCAC announced the three-day workshop will bring together stakeholders and African States to gain an understanding of SAF, SAF value chains, policy frameworks, financing, and SAF benefits, and how these will accelerate the development and deployment of SAF in Africa.
