For the next four months, beOnd will help fund MWSRP’s field research and community outreach across the Maldives, reinforcing its commitment to environmental sustainability.
“This partnership reflects a shared commitment to sustainability, education, and the protection of marine life,” beOnd stated.
Whale sharks are a charismatic endangered species that play a critical role in maintaining ocean health, beOnd noted. Protecting them is essential—not just for biodiversity, but for the well-being of communities and ecosystems that rely on the sea.
“At beOnd, we believe travel can be a force for good,” said Tero Taskila, CEO & Chairman of beOnd. “Partnering with MWSRP allows us to contribute to meaningful, lasting impact in the destination we serve and love.”
As the collaboration unfolds, beOnd and MWSRP will work together to advance research, conservation, and community engagement—inspiring action beyond the Maldives.
