Env-isa and AFRAA Sign MoU to Foster Sustainable Future for Airlines in Africa

The African Airlines Association (AFRAA) and Env-isa, a global consultancy specialising in sustainability and environmental solutions focused on aviation, tourism, and mobility, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) in January 2025.
The agreement aims to establish a framework for cooperation focused on the sustainable growth and development of the African aviation industry.
Strategic Collaboration for Sustainability
According to the parties, the MoU outlines a close partnership between Env-isa and AFRAA to achieve shared objectives, including capacity building, policy development, and fostering sustainability practices.
Leveraging Env-isa’s 20 years of expertise in aviation sustainability, the collaboration supports AFRAA’s vision for a sustainable air transport industry in Africa, where African airlines drive economic development.

- Noise, Air Quality, and Life Cycle Assessment
- ESG Reporting
- Carbon offset strategy and project delivery
Synergies for Charting Path to Net Zero
