Royal Air Maroc Operates SAF Flight on Marrakech-Paris Route
RAM's second SAF flight lands at Paris-Orly Airport

Royal Air Maroc (AT), in partnership with Vivo Energy Morocco, has successfully operated its second flight using Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).
The flight, which took place on February 20, 2025, marked a historic first for Paris-Orly Airport, as RAM notes.
Flight Powered 40% by SAF
According to RAM, flight AT740 was powered 40% by sustainable fuel, which the airline claims “significantly reduces CO2 emissions.”
The use of SAF is seen as a key step towards more sustainable aviation.
The flight operated between Marrakech and Paris, in Europe, demonstrating the airline’s commitment to reducing its environmental footprint.
