AFRAA and EgyptAir Training Academy Sign MoU to Collaborate on Aviation Training Across Africa
MoU to enhance skills of aviation professionals throughout the continent.
Egypt International Airshow 2024, September 5 – AFRAA and EgyptAir Training Academy signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to enhance aviation training across Africa.
According to the agreement, the collaboration aims to support the development of a sustainable and safe air transport system in Africa, contributing to the continent’s economic development and integration.
The MoU was signed by AFRAA’s Secretary General, Mr. Abderahmane Berthé, and President of EgyptAir Training Academy, Captain Waleed Soliman.
Developing Comprehensive Training Programs
Under the MoU, AFRAA and EgyptAir Training Academy will develop training programs for flight personnel, cabin crew, aircraft technicians, flight dispatchers, ground handling, and commercial staff.
This partnership will address the various training needs of African airlines. AFRAA and EgyptAir will also establish taskforces and working groups to address issues of common interest and implement new cooperative training projects.
EgyptAir Training Academy is an Egyptian Civil Aviation Authority and IATA Approved Training Organisation (ATO).
