Angola and Mozambique Strengthen Cooperation in Civil Aviation
Angola & Mozambique announce MoU for civil aviation synergy, April 10, 2024.
Angola and Mozambique have reaffirmed their commitment to working together in the civil aviation sector.
This follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between their respective civil aviation authorities on April 10th in Maputo, Mozambique.
The MoU, signed by the presidents of the National Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC) of Angola and the Regulatory Authority of Civil Aviation of Mozambique (IACM), establishes a framework for technical cooperation between the two countries.
This collaboration aligns with the International Civil Aviation Organization’s (ICAO) “No country left behind” initiative.
The initiative emphasises cooperation between nations to ensure the successful implementation of the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM) and support the goals of the African Union’s Agenda 2063.
