AviaDev and AFCAC Sign MoU to Promote Cooperation in Africa’s Aviation
AviaDev and AFCAC partner for African aviation development.
In June 2023, the African Civil Aviation Commission (AFCAC) and AviaDev Limited (AviaDev) announced a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) at the AviaDev Africa 2023 event in Nairobi, held from June 14th to 16th.
The MoU aims to promote and develop cooperation in the African aviation sector, specifically related to route development activities and advocacy for the implementation of the Yamoussoukro Decision (YD) and the Single African Air Transport Market (SAATM).
AviaDev and AFCAC will engage in various cooperative activities, including information sharing, events attendance, podcast participation, and collaboration at relevant industry events.

The 8th AviaDev Africa event – premier forum dedicated to improving air connectivity in Africa, will be hosted by the Namibia Airports Company (NAC), in Windhoek, in June 2024.
