BEOND Marks Inaugural Flight from Munich to the Maldives
BEOND completes inaugural flight from Munich to Maldives with flight BYD073.
BEOND, (B4) has completed its inaugural commercial flight – marking a significant milestone in its operations.
The world’s first premium leisure airline launched its first flight, BYD073, operating from Munich’s Franz Josef Strauss International Airport (MUC) to Male Velana International Airport (MLE) in the Maldives, arriving on November 16, 2023. The flight included a fuel stop in Dubai.

Ahead of the inaugural flight, BEOND showcased its first aircraft, an Airbus A319 with a 44-seat all-lay-flat configuration, at the 18th edition of the Dubai Airshow, featuring the Maxima Plus ‘Vivaldi’ Leisure Class Seat by Italian manufacturer Optimares.

BEOND’s Routes and Network Expansion Plans
In outlining its ambitious growth strategy, BEOND stated it intends to add 32 aircraft and expand to 60 destinations over the next five years.
The airline’s current schedule includes departures from the cities of Riyadh and Zurich to the Maldives in November 2023.
