Harare’s RGM International Airport New Apron Receives Maiden International Flight
The newly constructed apron at Harare's RGM International Airport welcomed its first international flight, ET872.
On September 2, 2023, the newly constructed apron at Harare’s RGM International Airport received its maiden international flight – ET872.
The project contractor, China Jiangsu International, reported, “The boarding bridge, manufactured by CIMC TIANDA, seamlessly connected with the international aircraft.”
The expanded facilities at the airport, which have a greater capacity, were inaugurated by the President on July 14, 2023, in the presence of other government officials.
Old Terminal Renovations and VVIP Facility Construction
In August, China Jiangsu International announced that the old terminal is currently undergoing renovations to enhance the travel experience and reported on the progress of VVIP facility construction.
