Jambojet Launches Mombasa-Zanzibar Flights

Jambojet (JM) has introduced a new direct route between Mombasa, Kenya, and Zanzibar, Tanzania.

The inaugural flight, which received a traditional water cannon salute upon arrival, touched down in Zanzibar on July 1, 2024.

Four Weekly Flights Serving East African Tourism

Flights will operate four times weekly between Mombasa’s Moi International Airport (MBA) and Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (ZNZ) in Zanzibar.

Scheduled for Monday, Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday, these flights will use Dash 8 400 aircraft.

Mombasa-Zanzibar Flight Schedule

• MBA-ZNZ: Departs Mombasa at 3:35 PM, Arrives in Zanzibar at 4:30 PM
• ZNZ-MBA: Departs Zanzibar at 5:10 PM, Arrives in Mombasa at 6:05 PM

This latest addition expands Jambojet’s network to include Zanzibar as their 9th destination, bringing their total route count to 12.
